Do you wash the secondhand clothes + items you source before you sell them?

Absolutely! We wash and clean pretty much each piece we source to the best of our ability. In some instances, where we have an original dead-stock item with original labeling + packaging, we opt to spot clean as we can’t machine wash it.

As always with any vintage or secondhand items there may be permanent wear marks and distressing that is inherent to the patina and age of the item. That’s what makes it so cool to begin with :)

We try our best to capture all of this in our product photography, so please look closely before purchasing.

Are your Studio RE.POST items really handmade?

Yes! We concept the design, make the patterns, cut and sew each piece from scratch, all out of our small design studio in Oakland, CA. Each piece takes a lot time and effort to execute, especially considering many times we are using up-cycled materials saved from garments that are unrepairable or defective.

You are truly purchasing a one-of-a-kind piece handmade from us, as well championing sustainability by extending the lifespan of a former piece of clothing and saving it from landfill.

Do you ship internationally?

Unfortunately, we are currently not accepting international orders. We are working towards this in the coming year.

How do you price your items?

Our prices are based on multiple factors. Our clothing and accessories are priced based on age, rarity and quality. A lot of the garments we collect have quite a bit of detail and cut/make, so we try to take into account pricing based on current market value when its comes to the construction, detail, fabric-weight and the overall amount of details they carry.

For our gaming and anime selection, our prices are based on condition and rarity. We usually only collect items that are categorized as good condition or higher.
